Xiaomi, a Chinese phone maker, is launching a new operating system in India. The first devices to get this new system are Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 6.
If you have one of these devices, you’ll receive the update this month, improving your user experience.
The company announced this through a post and mentioned that the new operating system, called HyperOS, will be available for more Xiaomi and Poco smartphones soon.
HyperOS, based on Linux and Xiaomi’s Vela system, runs well on phones with lower RAM.
It uses fewer resources compared to other systems, making it lightweight.
The company plans to extend its availability to more smartphones in the future.
In just two days, Xiaomi will introduce the Xiaomi Note 13 series in India, consisting of three phones.
The expected starting price in India is Rs 20,999. All three phones feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K FHD Plus AMOLED display.
The Pro model comes with a triple camera setup, including a 200MP primary camera and a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
The Pro model might have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SOC, while the Plus model could have MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra. The base model might feature the Dimensity 6080 chipset.
