Xiaomi has surprised users by adding several Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco phones to its end-of-life list.

Being on this list means Xiaomi will no longer release software updates for these devices.

Additionally, Xiaomi will not release new features, bug fixes, or essential security updates for these devices.

The end-of-life list includes several popular models from the Mi 10 Series and Redmi 10 lineup.

Users of these devices now face a choice: upgrade to a new phone or continue using their current ones without updates.

Phones that no longer receive updates are at higher risk of cyberattacks, as hackers can exploit vulnerabilities to access sensitive user data.
