The XUV700 is a popular SUV made by Mahindra in India. It comes with diesel and petrol engines.
You can choose between 5, 6, or 7 seats. Because it’s so popular, you might have to wait a while to get one.
In June 2023, the wait for AX7 L was 9 months, but by October, it was down to 6 months. Now, some versions only take about two months to get.
Here’s the current waiting period for the different versions
Entry MX and AX3 versions: 1 month
AX5 and AX7: 1.5 months
Top-spec AX7 L: 2 months
The top versions with ESP features have no wait
Mahindra is working on an automatic version of the MX variant to compete with other small SUVs.
They’ve reduced the total backlog of deliveries from 2.86 lakh units in November 2023 to 2.26 lakh units by February 1, 2024, because they’re making more cars.
The price of the XUV700 starts at Rs 13.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 26.99 lakh (before taxes).
In India, it competes with cars like Tata Harrier, Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector, and Hector Plus.
