Volkswagen just released a special version of the Taigun in India. It’s called the Taigun ‘Sound Edition,’ and it’s based on the top model.
The price is Rs 16.33 lakh. They also introduced a limited edition of the Virtus, known as the ‘Sound Edition,’ with a price of Rs 15.51 lakh. Both editions have fancy interiors and cool features.
Let’s talk about the Taigun Sound Edition’s engine. It comes with a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine that produces 113 bhp power and 178 Nm torque.
You can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Last month, the company sold over 2,200 Taigun units, showing a growth of 39.91%.
As for the features of the Taigun Sound Edition, it boasts a 7-speaker sound system with a subwoofer and an amplifier.
The SUV also comes with powered front seats as a standard feature, making your music experience even better.
The Taigun Sound Edition offers two engine options, both with automatic and manual transmissions.
The ex-showroom price for the 1.0 liter TSI MT is Rs 16.33 lakh, and for the 1.0 liter TSI AT, it’s Rs 17.90 lakh.
Looking at the exterior, you’ll find ‘Sound Edition’ badges and graphics on the C-pillars.
The SUV is available in four colors: Rising Blue, Wild Cherry Red, Carbon Steel Gray, and Lava Red.
The white roof and ORVMs add a nice touch. Volkswagen also launched the Virtus Sound Edition, which has similar features to the Taigun.
