Vivo recently made some phones more affordable in India. A few days ago, they lowered the prices of Vivo T2 5G and Vivo Y56 5G.
Vivo T2 5G is now Rs 2,000 cheaper, and Vivo Y56 5G is Rs 1,000 less. After that, the Chinese smartphone company decided to cut the prices of some Y-series smartphones.
They reduced the prices of Vivo Y16, Vivo Y02t, Vivo Y02, Vivo Y27, and Vivo 17s by up to Rs 1,000.
The announcement about the price drop of Y series smartphones was made through X (previously Twitter).
Vivo Y17s also had its price reduced by Rs 1,000. The Y17s with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage now costs Rs 10,499, while the 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 11,499.
Previously, these variants were priced at Rs 11,499 and Rs 12,499, respectively.
Vivo shared an image indicating that customers can get Rs 1,000 cashback on buying Vivo Y27 and Vivo Y17s smartphones.
Additionally, there’s a cost EMI offer available on the purchase of Vivo Y16, Y02t, and Y02.
Vivo Y16, Vivo Y02t, and Vivo Y02 are now Rs 500 cheaper in India. The 4GB RAM + 64GB
storage model of Vivo Y16 costs Rs 9,999, and the 128GB storage model is Rs 10,999. Earlier, these variants were priced at Rs 10,499 and Rs 11,999, respectively.
Vivo Y02t is now available for Rs 8,499, reduced by Rs 500 from its previous price of Rs 8,999.
Vivo has also cut the price of Vivo Y02 by Rs 500, making it available for Rs 7,999 instead of the earlier price of Rs 8,499.
Similar to Y02 and Y02t, the price of Vivo Y27 has been reduced by Rs 500.
It’s noteworthy that this isn’t the first time these phones had a price cut. This is the third time Vivo has reduced the prices of Vivo Y16 and Vivo Y02 smartphones.
In September, the 64GB and 128GB storage models of Vivo Y16 were priced at Rs 10,499 and Rs 11,999, respectively.
Also, the price of Vivo Y02t with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage was earlier Rs 9,499, reduced to Rs 8,999.
