Now, you can use the internet on flights for free. Tata Group’s Vistara Airlines has announced that it will provide free Wi-Fi on its international flights.
How long can you use Free Wi-Fi?
Passengers will receive complimentary Wi-Fi for approximately 20 minutes during the flight.
Vistara Airlines has stated that this 20-minute free Wi-Fi period is provided at no cost,
allowing passengers to stay connected with loved ones during their journey.
For extended Wi-Fi use, passengers will need to purchase additional plans using Indian credit or debit cards.
First Indian Airline to offer In-Flight Internet
Vistara passengers can access free Wi-Fi on international flights operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A321 Neo aircraft, according to the company’s statement.
Business class passengers and Vistara Platinum Club members will receive 50 MB of complimentary Wi-Fi.
Vistara Airlines is the first Indian airline to offer free Wi-Fi on international flights.

Vistara’s Chief Commercial Officer, Deepak Rajawat, stated that they are confident customers will appreciate these efforts, which will make travel more convenient than before.
He mentioned that non-members will need to pay ₹372.74 plus GST for unlimited data on messaging apps like WhatsApp.
For internet browsing, social media, and web usage during the flight, the cost will be ₹1,577.54 plus GST.
Additionally, ₹2,707.04 plus GST will be charged for unlimited data access to all streaming services.
