Vistara Introduces Free In-Flight Wi-Fi on International Flights

Vistara is pioneering in-flight Wi-Fi connectivity on its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A321neo aircraft, making it the first Indian airline to offer this service.

Initially introduced for Club Vistara members last year, the service is now available to all international passengers.

How to Access Free Wi-Fi

Availability: 20 minutes of free standard in-flight Wi-Fi is available on international flights for all passengers on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A321neo aircraft.

Service Provider: The Wi-Fi service is provided by Tata’s Nelco Network Products Limited (NNPL) and operated by Panasonic Avionics Corporation.

Initial Use: Initially limited to messaging apps like WhatsApp, Messenger, and iMessage.

Enhancing the Wi-Fi Experience

Passengers can enhance their Wi-Fi experience by purchasing additional plans using Indian or internationally issued credit/debit cards.

To use Indian cards, the plan must be purchased within 20 minutes of activation, using an OTP sent to the email linked to the card.

Features: Unlimited data for messaging apps.

Surf Plan:

Price: ₹1577.54 / $20.95

Features: Content with embedded audio and video streaming, unlimited data on websites.

Stream Plan:

Price: ₹2707.04 / $35.95

Features: Unlimited data streaming on all sites.
