Starting today, this service offers significant convenience for those with time constraints or those unable to trek.

Two Helicopter Packages Available
1. Same-Day Return Package:
- Cost: Rs 35,000 per person
Includes: Helicopter ride from Jammu to Vaishno Devi, battery car service from Panchhi to Bhawan, darshan, and a ropeway ticket to Bhairav temple.
2. Next-Day Return Package:
- Cost: Rs 60,000 per person
Includes: Same benefits as the same-day return package plus special prayers and overnight return service.
Service Details and Inauguration
This new helicopter service complements the existing helicopter route between the base camp at Katra and Sanjhi Chhat near the temple,
which costs Rs 2,100 per person per side.
The first flight under the new service took off from Jammu airport at 11 am and landed at Panchhi helipad,
significantly reducing travel time.

Anshul Garg, Chief Executive Officer of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), stated that this new service is part of ongoing efforts to improve facilities for pilgrims.
The service, operated by a private company, promises a hassle-free journey to one of India’s most revered pilgrimage sites.
