During a ‘gratitude rally’ held at the Ramlila Maidan in Haldwani by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha to mark the implementation of the anti-cheating law,

CM Dhami emphasized that this measure would ensure transparency in exams and secure the future of young people.

He declared that the interview system should be abolished with immediate effect for all Group ‘C’ exams, whether conducted by the Public Service Commission or any other commission in the state, including technical and non-technical positions such as the posts of JE.

Now that we know about this change in the exam category, let’s focus on which jobs fall under the ‘C’ category.

Which All Job Categories Come Under Type “C”?

Samuh G (Group C) is the most common job category in the government departments of Uttarakhand, and it includes Grade C, Class C, and Class III posts.

Grade C positions include LDC, UDC, Assistants, Pharmacists, Junior Engineers, and other Clerk Grade jobs.

The minimum educational qualification for these exams is usually Class 12 or graduation.

Commissions such as UKPSC, UBTER, and UKSSSC release various Samuh G posts in different departments of Uttarakhand.

Candidates with a Class 12 or graduation qualification are eligible to apply for Group C vacancies in Uttarakhand.

Many government departments of Uttarakhand release a variety of Group C posts, including Nurse, Clerk, Technician, Technical Assistant, Pharmacist, Data Entry Operator, Hospital Attendant, House Keeping, Forest Guards, Office Attendant, Electrician, Stenographer, Accountant, and more.
