MG Motor India is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and to mark this special occasion, the company has changed the prices of its cars in India.
One of the cars, the Comet EV, now costs Rs 1 lakh less, making the starting price Rs 6.99 lakh (excluding additional charges).
This electric car has three different versions, and it can travel up to 230 km on one full charge.

Starting Price: The MG Comet EV comes in three versions: Pace, Play, and Plus.
The basic version, Pace, now starts at Rs 6.99 lakh (excluding additional charges).
The prices for the other two versions have not been updated yet.
Battery and Charging: The Comet EV is equipped with a 17.3kWh battery pack. It takes seven hours to charge the battery fully.
The electric motor, which produces 41bhp of power and 110Nm of torque, is powered by this battery.
The car can cover a distance of 230 km on a single charge, with a real-life test showing a range of 191 km.
These changes in pricing and features make the MG Comet EV an attractive option in the affordable electric car market.
