British High Commissioner to India Alex Ellis said on Friday that his country is now providing visas to Indian travelers within 15 days.
However, he also noted that some complicated cases take longer.
In a short video clip posted on Twitter, Ellis said, “Two months ago, I said that by the end of the year
we aimed to provide visas to people from India to the UK within the standard time of 15 days.”
Our team in Delhi and the entire Visa network have done a fantastic job achieving this.
He said, “If you want a faster visa, you can follow the priority channel.” We are giving visa in that in five days.
He also said that the academic session is starting in January.
In such a situation, the number of students for access will increase from next month.
He also urged students wishing to study in the UK to apply for visas soon.
