Twitter, under the helm of Elon Musk, has been making significant changes to its platform, and the latest development is the launch of an enhanced version of TweetDeck.
However, this upgrade comes with a catch, as it will only be accessible to users with verified accounts.
The company has granted a 30-day window for users to access this feature for free before it becomes exclusive to verified profiles.
User Complaints Prompt Twitter’s TweetDeck Update
Prior to the announcement, many TweetDeck users faced difficulties, especially regarding notifications and tweet loading issues.
Several users reported problems with the Twitter handles column in their TweetDeck interface. Twitter aims to address these concerns with the new version.
What is TweetDeck?
TweetDeck serves as a social media dashboard application for efficiently managing multiple Twitter accounts.
It’s commonly used by Social Media Influencers, Media Companies, and Social Media Managers, as it allows users to view tweets from different accounts on a single screen.
For media companies, TweetDeck is a valuable tool to track news sources, while it aids users with managing multiple accounts efficiently.
Features of the Upgraded TweetDeck:
The new version of TweetDeck introduces exciting new features such as Spaces, Video Docking, Twitter Polls, and more.
However, the Teams function is currently unavailable, though Twitter plans to reintroduce it in the upcoming weeks. As of now, access to TweetDeck requires user verification.
Cost of Verification:
For Indian users, the Twitter Blue membership, which includes account verification, costs Rs 900 per month for both Android and iOS devices, and Rs 650 per month for the web version.
An annual membership option is also available at Rs 6,800 for web users and Rs 9,400 for iOS and Android users.
