Traveling to the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra has been made more convenient.
The Railway authority has taken steps to extend the Delhi Junction-Hoshiarpur-Delhi Junction (14012/14011) train route to Agra Cantt.
Starting from August 26, 2023, departing from Hoshiarpur, and from August 27, 2023, departing from Agra Cantonment, this change aims to enhance passenger experience.
The train formerly known as Hoshiar-Delhi Junction Express (14012) will now be called Hoshiarpur-Agra Cantt Express.
Correspondingly, the Delhi Junction – Hoshiarpur Express (14011) will adopt the name Agra Cantt – Hoshiarpur Express.
Updated Schedule for Hoshiarpur-Agra Cantt Express
As informed by Northern Railway, the Hoshiarpur-Agra Cantt Express (14012) will depart Hoshiarpur at 10.25 pm, arriving at Agra Cantt by 10.50 am the following day.
The Agra Cantt-Hoshiarpur (14011) will leave Agra Cantt at 7.10 pm and reach Hoshiarpur the next day at 09.20 am.
Along its journey, the train will make stops at Khurdpur, Jalandhar Cantt, Jalandhar City, Phagwara Junction, Ludhiana Junction, Chandigarh Junction, Ambala Cantt, Karnal, Panipat Junction, Delhi Junction, New Delhi, Kosi Kalan, and Mathura Junction.
Enhanced Connectivity: Train Halted at Nagda Junction Railway Station
In a bid to enhance the convenience of rail travelers, the Railways have announced a brief stoppage for a specific train pair at Nagda Junction railway station.
The Muzaffarpur-Surat Express is scheduled to halt at Nagda Junction for two minutes starting from September 1, 2023.
The train’s arrival time at Nagda is 03.03 pm, and departure is at 03.05 pm.
For train number 19054 Surat-Muzaffarpur Express, the stoppage at Nagda Junction is set from September 3, 2023.
The train will arrive at 09.38 am and resume its journey at 09.40 am.
Extended Stoppage at Nanaksar: Improved Accessibility
The Ajmer Junction – Amritsar Junction Express (19611) will make a one-minute stop at Nanaksar on August 24 and August 26, 2023, at 09.47 am, departing at 09.48 am.
Similarly, the Amritsar Junction – Ajmer Junction Express (19612) will briefly stop at Nanaksar at 4.36 pm and depart at 4.37 pm.
The S.A.S. Nagar Mohali – Firozpur Cantonment Express (14613) is slated to arrive at Nanaksar at 9.08 pm and depart at 9.09 pm.
Firozpur Cantt-SAS Nagar Mohali Express (146164) is scheduled to leave at 06.09 am on both August 24 and August 30, 2023, arriving at 06.10 am.
