Toyota Kirloskar Motor has unveiled the upgraded version of its popular Vellfire luxury MPV in India.
The starting price for the top-spec variant is ₹1.19 crore, while the high-spec VIP grade – Executive Lounge variant costs up to ₹1.29 crore (all prices are ex-showroom).
The company plans to commence customer deliveries from November.
19.28 Km per liter
The new Vellfire is a self-charging strong hybrid electric model that boasts an impressive 19.28 km per liter mileage.
It can run for 40% of the distance and 60% of the time on zero emission mode, showcasing its eco-friendly capabilities.
Built on Toyota’s TNGA platform, the model features an advanced suspension system for a smooth and enhanced ride experience.
2.5-litre Four-Cylinder DOHC
Under the hood, the Strong Hybrid variant is powered by a 2.5-litre inline four-cylinder DOHC engine, delivering a maximum power output of 142 kW and peak torque of 240 Nm.
The integration of an electric motor and hybrid battery significantly reduces emissions, making it an environmentally conscious choice.
Colors and Styling
The Vellfire is available in three attractive exterior color options: Platinum Pearl White, Jet Black, and Precious Metal.
Inside the cabin, buyers can choose from three interior color options: Sunset Brown, Neutral Beige, and Black.
Ample Space and Comfort
Toyota has enhanced the Vellfire’s spaciousness by increasing the distance between the seats.
The updated driving position allows for a more comfortable experience with increased legroom between the front and second-row seats.
The third-row side quarter trim and rear door trim have been slimmed down to create additional space.
Luxurious Infotainment and Convenience Features
The interior boasts a tall overhead console, fitted in the middle of the roof, offering numerous passenger controls for added convenience.
The infotainment system comes with a large 14-inch display and 15 JBL speakers, supporting Apple Car Play and Android Auto compatibility.
The Executive Lounge variant features a cozy 14-inch rear seat, ensuring a comfortable ride for passengers.
Added Features and Safety
The Vellfire comes equipped with various additional features, including pull-down side sun blinds with automatic moonroof shades to limit sunlight.
Passengers in the second row can enjoy a massage function, along with pre-set modes for added relaxation.
The model now offers over 60 connected features, such as remote door lock/unlock, air conditioning control, emergency service, vehicle diagnostics, and driver monitoring alerts.
Safety is paramount in the Vellfire, with features like the Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS) and other safety elements, including cruise control, lane trace assistance, high beam LED headlamps, and blind-spot monitoring.
