Ayodhya Ram Temple: Many companies, from hotels to airlines, are focusing on Ayodhya due to the construction of the Ram temple.
Three airline companies—IndiGo, Air India Express, and SpiceJet—have announced flights from Ayodhya to different cities.
IndiGo: They started flights from Delhi to Ayodhya on January 6 after the opening of Maharishi Valmiki International Airport.
IndiGo also operates the Ahmedabad-Ayodhya route, and there are plans for Mumbai-Ayodhya flights starting January 15.
SpiceJet: The airline will have a special flight from Delhi to Ayodhya on January 21, with regular operations starting on February 1
Daily flights from Chennai, six times a week from Mumbai, and four times weekly from Bengaluru are planned.
Air India Express: They will begin direct flights connecting Ayodhya with Bengaluru and Kolkata from January 17, with services already started between Ayodhya and Delhi.
Chartered Flights: On January 22, about 100 chartered flights are expected for the consecration ceremony, as mentioned by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
He highlighted the improved air services in the state, with a 29.46 percent increase in air passengers over the last three years.
The Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30.
