As October nears its end, important rule adjustments are on the horizon for November 1, affecting your household finances.
These changes encompass LPG prices, e-invoicing, and import regulations. Here’s a breakdown of what’s coming:
LPG Price Updates
LPG cylinder, CNG, and PNG prices are set to shift on the 1st of each month. The new prices are revealed at the beginning of each month.
Keep in mind, commercial cylinder prices might rise during festive periods due to increased demand, but government adjustments are possible.
E-Invoicing Obligations
Starting November 1, businesses with a turnover of Rs 100 crore or more must upload their GST invoices on the e-challan portal within 30 days.
This directive was established by the GST authority in September.
Import Deadline
The government had previously granted exemptions for importing electronic products, like laptops, tablets, and personal computers in HSN 8741 category, until October 30.
We await further announcements on what will occur from November 1 as no official statements have been made yet.
Reactivate Discontinued LIC Policies
If you have any discontinued LIC policies, you have until October 31 to reinstate them without any hassle.
Stay informed and adapt to these changes for a smooth transition into November.
