Telegram started in 2013. It’s a messaging app like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. You can send messages using WiFi and mobile data.
Recently, they gave users a big gift for the new year. They introduced the 10.5.0 update, focusing on voice and video calls.
This update is made to work well even on older phones.
Telegram shared some details about the update. In a blog post, they mentioned that the new user interface (UI) uses fewer resources.
This means your phone will perform better and save battery. The app will now work smoothly on older devices too.
They said, “In this update, we redesigned Calls, added new animations, and beautiful backgrounds that change during the call.
The new interface uses fewer resources, saving battery and working better on older phones.”
This feature was first for iPhone users, like the “Vaporize Animation” announced last month.
It promised a smoother user experience with the “Thanos Snap” effect. Now, this is also available for Android users.
Before this update, Telegram introduced a story feature, similar to WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram.
The twist is, you can edit your story even after posting it in Telegram.
