This high-performance motor is capable of producing 123bhp and 225Nm of torque,

while the existing 1.5L turbo diesel engine, which delivers 115bhp and 260Nm of torque, will also be available.

The new Nexon will be offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT gearbox, and there are indications that

it could also be equipped with a DCT (dual-clutch transmission) automatic gearbox, specially designed by Tata for Indian climatic and driving conditions.

This advanced unit features active cooling technology, machine learning capabilities, and shift-by-wire technology.

The SUV will retain its three drive modes – Eco, City, and Sport.

There are rumors circulating that Tata may equip the higher trims of the new Nexon with ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) technology.

In addition, the SUV is expected to feature a new steering wheel, a 7-inch digital TFT instrument cluster, and fresh upholstery.

The iRA connectivity suite, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob, wearable smart key, rear power outlet,

height-adjustable driver seat, tyre pressure monitoring system, and cruise control will also be carried over from the previous model.

On the exterior, the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will sport headlamps with X-shaped lighting elements, an LED light strip running across the front,

new alloy wheels, and updated LED taillamps connected via LED DRL.
