The 2024 Nexon diesel lineup now includes two new base variants: Smart Plus and Smart Plus S, alongside the existing Pure variant.
Tata has expanded the Nexon diesel range with the addition of these two variants, which are exclusively available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Updated Pricing Details
The ex-showroom price for the Nexon Smart Plus diesel-manual variant is now Rs 9.99 lakh, while the Smart Plus S variant, equipped with a sunroof, is priced at Rs 10.49 lakh.
Previously, the Pure variant was the entry point at Rs 11.09 lakh, making the new variants Rs 1.11 lakh more affordable.
Smart Plus and Smart Plus S Variants
Tata Motors has expanded its 2024 Nexon diesel range with the addition of two new base variants: Smart Plus and Smart Plus S.

Tata Nexon Petrol: Introduction of Smart (O) Variant
In the petrol segment, Tata Nexon now offers even greater affordability with the introduction of the new base variant, Smart (O).
This move aims to make the Nexon more accessible to a wider range of customers.
Previously, the starting variant was Nexon Smart Plus, priced at ₹8.89 lakh.
With the introduction of Smart (O), customers can now enjoy a cost-saving of Rs 90,000, as the starting ex-showroom price is reduced to ₹7.99 lakh.
Petrol Model Price Reduction
Not only has the diesel model seen a price drop, but purchasing the petrol model has also become more economical.
Previously starting with the Nexon Smart Plus variant at Rs 8.89 lakh, Tata has now introduced the Smart (O) variant at a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh.
This translates to a savings of Rs 90,000 for prospective buyers.
