According to the news, the company had recently announced this hike, while it had been indicated only last month.
The company had said in December last that since strict rules regarding pollution have to be implemented from April 1, 2023, the company’s cost will increase, resulting in an effect on the prices.
Regarding the merits of electric vehicles, the company had then said that there has actually been an increase in the cost of the battery, but despite that, its burden was not put on the customers then.
Prices of cars with every fuel increased
Tata Motors has increased the prices of all fuel segments, such as petrol, diesel, CNG, and even electric cars.
