Tata Motore Changed its 10 Punch Variants and Prices

The Tata Punch is the most popular car in the country right now. In January 2024, it was the top-selling SUV.

Since it was launched in 2021, its success hasn’t slowed down.

The company has made many improvements to it over time, adding some new versions and discontinuing others.

Recently, they stopped producing 10 versions of the Punch and introduced 3 new ones.

If you’re thinking of buying a Punch, you should know about these changes.

The 10 discontinued versions were those that didn’t sell well. Most of them were Camo variants, like Camo Adventure MT and Camo Adventure AMT.

Also, Punch Creative dual-tone and Creative Flagship MT dual-tone are not available anymore.

Now, there are 3 new versions: Creative MT, Creative Flagship MT, and Creative AMT.

The Creative MT starts at Rs 8.85 lakh, the Creative Flagship MT at Rs 9.60 lakh, and the Creative AMT at Rs 9.45 lakh.

The Creative is the highest trim level of the Punch, above Pure, Adventure, and Accomplished trims.

The company raised the prices by up to Rs 17,000 starting from February 1, 2024.

Features of the new variant include projector headlamps, LED DRLs, alloy wheels, roof rails, auto headlamps,

rain sensing wipers, auto folding ORVMs, rear wiper, rear defogger, puddle lamps, 7-inch TFT instrument cluster,

Harman 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic temperature control, cooled glove box,

rear seat armrest, leather steering wheel and gear knob, one-touch up window, and tire pressure monitoring systems.

Specifications-wise, the Tata Punch has a 1.2-liter engine generating 86 PS power and 113 Nm torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox,

and there’s also a 5-speed AMT option. The mileage is around 18.97 kmpl for manual and 18.82 kmpl for automatic.

It’s equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen system, digital instrument cluster, auto AC, automatic headlights, connected car tech,

and cruise control. Safety-wise, it’s got a 5-star rating from Global NCAP, similar to Tata Nexon and Tata Altroz, for both adult and child occupant protection.”
