Suzuki unveils its 4th-gen Swift with ADAS Features: See Launch Date

At the Tokyo car show, Suzuki showed off the insides of its fourth-generation Swift and EVX.

The new Swift has a rounder shape, and it looks like it’s ready for production, with a bigger grille and a changed bumper design.

Although it seems larger, it’s still compact because it shares its DNA with the traditional Swift.

The headlights are new and have a unique daytime running light design. The front grille is shiny black and has the Suzuki logo on it.

The alloy wheels are also new, and the rear gate handle now moves down, making it seem more spacious and fixing some issues from the current Swift.

Inside, it’s designed similarly to the front, and it has more features than the current Swift.

For the Japanese market, the Swift comes with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), but it can’t be offered in India due to the higher cost.

The new Swift looks bigger, but it keeps the look of the previous generation to stick to what’s been proven successful.

In India, the new Swift will be offered exclusively with a 1.2L petrol engine and the choice of manual and AMT transmissions.

In international markets, it also comes in a hybrid version. The new Swift is slated for an Indian launch next year and will be available through Arena showrooms.

Additionally, Suzuki introduced the eVX electric SUV, which had previously been showcased at the Auto Expo in India.

The EVX interior, presented in concept form, features an open cockpit design with a large screen and minimal buttons.

It boasts a floating-style center console and an estimated driving range of around 500 km.

It is expected that the new Swift will arrive before the EVX by 2025.
