The Reserve Bank of India announced on Friday that the Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) will be available for five days starting Monday.
The price to buy this gold bond is set at Rs 6,263 per gram. Many investors are interested in the good returns these bonds offer.
If you buy online and pay digitally, you will get a discount. The price for such investors will be Rs 6,213 per gram.
You can buy Sovereign Gold Bonds from certain banks, corporations, post offices, and stock exchanges.
These bonds are available for purchase by individuals, families, trusts, universities, and charities.
There are limits on how much you can buy: four kilograms for individuals, four kilograms for families, and 20 kilograms for trusts and similar groups per year.
The gold bond scheme started in 2015 to reduce the demand for physical gold.
