Skoda, known for its commitment to safety, has received accolades for its vehicles’ crash test performance in the Indian market.
The Skoda Kushaq SUV and Skoda Slavia sedan have both achieved a remarkable 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test.
Now, Skoda is further enhancing the safety quotient of these vehicles by introducing the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) feature.
According to a recent report in Autocar India, Skoda’s brand director, Petr Solak, highlighted the importance of active safety and stated that the company is evaluating its inclusion in the next set of model refreshes in India.
Solak added, “You are going to see additional safety features soon in the Kushaq and Slavia as well.”
Skoda has always prioritized safety, and the current lineup of Skoda India cars and SUVs already boasts impressive safety features.
These include ABS, EBD, ESC, TCS, rollover mitigation, brake disc wiping, tire pressure monitoring, and multi-collision braking, which helps correct the vehicle’s trajectory after a collision.
In the highly competitive compact SUV segment, Hyundai Creta currently holds the title of the best-selling car.
However, with the Skoda Kushaq offering a 5-star safety rating and the upcoming addition of ADAS features, it is set to become an even more attractive option for customers.
Skoda’s dedication to ensuring the highest level of safety will undoubtedly influence buyers’ decisions, as they seek a reliable and secure driving experience.
With Skoda’s commitment to active safety and the introduction of ADAS features in the Kushaq and Slavia, car enthusiasts can expect a new level of advanced safety technology that will challenge the dominance of the Hyundai Creta in the market.
