Samsung Enters Indian Market with New Range of OLED TVs

The smart TV market in India has long been dominated by brands like Sony, LG, and Samsung.

However, with the recent launch of Samsung’s NEO series, LG has also introduced several new TV models.

Not to be outdone, Samsung has once again made its mark in the market with its latest TV range.

In 2022, the company made a comeback in the OLED TV segment by releasing TVs with QD-OLED panels, and this year, they unveiled the second-generation models, namely the S90C and S95C.

Samsung’s OLED TVs Make Debut in India

These latest TV models have now been officially launched in India. It is noteworthy that the versions available in the country are manufactured locally, catering specifically to Indian consumers.

These televisions mark the first-ever Samsung-branded OLED TVs introduced in India. The launch of these TVs comes within a month of the release of the 2023 Neo QLED TV series.

Available in Multiple Sizes

The Samsung S90C and S95C QD-OLED TVs are available in three size variants: 55 inches, 65 inches, and 75 inches.

The prices start from Rs 1,69,990, and the TVs can be purchased from Samsung’s official website (Samsung.com) as well as offline and online retailers.

To make the deal even more enticing, the company is offering up to 20% cashback on credit card purchases.

Customers also have the option to avail themselves of convenient EMIs starting from as low as Rs 2,990.

Impressive Specs of Samsung OLED TVs

Samsung’s OLED TVs boast 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz, delivering sharp and smooth visuals.

While Dolby Vision support is absent, the TVs come with HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and AMD FreeSync with Premium Pro. They offer a brightness of 1500 nits, ensuring vibrant and lifelike colors.

Connectivity options are plentiful, including HDMI 2.1, USB, Optical, Ethernet, WiFi, and Bluetooth, allowing users to connect their devices seamlessly.

The TVs run on Tizen OS, which provides access to all major streaming apps and more.

Notably, the S90C model features 40W speakers, while the S95C model boasts more powerful 70W speakers, delivering immersive audio experiences.

With Samsung’s entry into the OLED TV segment in India, consumers now have more options to choose from, adding a new contender to the already competitive smart TV market.
