RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) plans to hire for over 5000 Assistant Loco Pilots positions.

Who can apply?
Individuals interested in applying for the ALP position should have completed 10th grade and completed IIT in the relevant trade from a recognized institute affiliated with NCVT/SCVT.
Eligible trades for ITI include Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio/TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanical (Diesel), Heat Engines, Turners, Machinists, and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanics.
Age Limit
To apply for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) post, candidates should be at least 18 years old and not more than 30 years old.
However, there is age relaxation for candidates in reserved categories according to the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) ALP Recruitment Advertisement No.

This much salary will be given
The starting salary for RRB Assistant Loco Pilot is Rs 19,900, placed in Level 2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay scale.
In addition to the base salary, ALPs receive different allowances and benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, Night Duty Allowance according to government rules.
The overall salary for ALP varies from Rs 25,000 to Rs 35,000 per month.
The application fee
The fee for General/OBC/EWS is Rs 500, for SC/ST/PH, and all categories of women candidates, it’s Rs 250.
After Stage I examination, UR/OBC/EWS candidates will receive a refund of Rs 400, while SC/ST/PH/Women candidates will get a refund of Rs 250.
Payment of the examination fee can be made through debit card, credit card, or net banking only.
