In a bid to alleviate concerns among Byju’s employees, Raghunathan, a representative board member of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), has assured them that their pending provident fund (PF) dues will be fully cleared.
The social security custodian, EPFO, has pledged to ensure that employees receive the entirety of their PF funds.
Raghunathan stated, “Byju’s employees need not worry about their PF dues. EPFO, as their social security custodian, will ensure that the employees receive their complete PF amount.”
Speaking to Moneycontrol over the phone, he further added, “EPFO has initiated an investigation upon learning about this issue. The company will be given an opportunity to present their side of the story.
It is EPFO’s responsibility to ensure the survival of the company and the well-being of its employees, which includes the settlement of the remaining PF funds.”
With this assurance, Byju’s employees can find some relief, as EPFO is actively working towards resolving the situation and safeguarding their PF funds.
