Xiaomi has introduced a new variant of the Redmi 12C smartphone in India, fulfilling its promise.
The Redmi 12C now comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Previously, the phone was available with options of 64GB and 128GB storage, along with 4GB and 6GB RAM.
The device features a 60Hz refresh rate display, a powerful 5000mAh battery, and a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel lens.
Price of Redmi 12C 4GB RAM, 128GB Storage Variant
The latest Redmi 12C variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 9,999 in India.
The phone will go on sale starting from June 22 in Lavender Purple, Matte Black, Mint Green, and Royal Blue color options.
Previously, the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the Redmi 12C was available for purchase at Rs 8,999, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant cost Rs 10,999.
Redmi 12C Specifications
The budget-friendly Redmi 12C boasts a primary camera of 50 megapixels with an aperture of F/1.8, accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
For selfies, there is a 5-megapixel front camera.
The handset also features a fingerprint sensor on the rear.
The Redmi 12C sports a 6.71-inch display with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop-shaped notch. The screen offers a brightness of 500 nits.
Powering the phone is an octa-core Helio G85 processor, complemented by a Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU for graphics. The smartphone runs on MIUI 13, based on Android 12.
