Great news for those getting ready for jobs in Indian Railways! Information about Railway recruitment in 2024 has just been announced.
The Railway Recruitment Board, the organization handling recruitments for Indian Railways, has shared the RRB Recruitment Calendar 2024.
You can find the calendar on various RRB websites, such as rrbcdg.gov.in and rrbajmer.gov.in, as well as those for Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Ahmedabad.
Here are the details on when the recruitment processes for various positions in Railways will begin this year, including Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP),
Technician, Junior Engineer, Non-Technical Popular Category (RRB NTPC), Level 1, Ministerial and Isolated Category, and Paramedical.

Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Recruitment:
- Notification expected by March 2024.
- Written examination (CBT 1) likely between June and August 2024.
- CBT 2 may take place in September 2024.
- Aptitude test (CBAT) in November 2024.
- Document verification to follow the successful completion of all three stages.
Railway Technician Recruitment:
- Job notification expected between April to June 2024.
JE, Paramedical, NTPC Recruitment:
- Advertisements for RRB NTPC, RRB JE, and Paramedical positions will be issued in the third phase.
- Jobs available for graduate levels 4, 5, 6, and undergraduate levels 2 and 3.
Level 1, Ministerial, Isolated Category Recruitment:
- Recruitment for these positions at the end of the year.
- Job notifications expected between October to December 2024.
