Identifying Genuine IRCTC App
IRCTC’s official app for booking tickets is called “IRCTC Rail Connect.” It’s the only authentic app you should use.
This app can be securely downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store.
The legitimate IRCTC Rail Connect app has been downloaded over 50 million times and holds a 3.7 rating on Google Play Store.
When downloading the app, cross-check these details to ensure you’re getting the genuine version.
Spotting the Real App
Look for the “IRCTC Official” label within the app to confirm its authenticity.
Avoid downloading the app from third-party sources to prevent falling for fake versions.
To distinguish between the real and fake apps, compare the screenshots provided.
Be cautious of an APK file called “irctcconnect.apk” that’s circulating on Telegram and WhatsApp.
Additionally, stay away from the deceptive site “https://irctc.creditmobile.site.” Remember, the authentic IRCTC site is “https://www.irctc.co.in.”
