India Post GDS Recruitment 2023:
There is an excellent opportunity for 10th-pass candidates to get a government job. Indian Postal Department (India Post) has sought applications for more than 40 thousand vacancies for Gramin Dak Sevak posts.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of India Post, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
Apply by February 16
According to the India Post GDS Job (GDS Recruitment) Notification 2023, a total of 40,889 vacancies will be filled in the posts of Branch Post Main (BPM) and Assistant Branch Post Main (ABPM) in India Post.
Online applications have started from January 27. Eligible candidates can apply till February 16, 2023.

Who can apply?
For India Post GDS Recruitment, candidates should have studied Mathematics and English in class 10th (matriculation) from a recognized board.
The age limit of the candidates should be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 40 years.
However, reserved category candidates will get relaxation in the upper age limit as per government norms.
Application fee
Candidates have to pay Rs.100 as an application fee. However, all women/trans-women candidates and all SC/ST candidates are exempted from fee payment.

Selection Process
There will be no written test for the applicants for recruitment to GDS posts. The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the 10th class.
In the case of a mark sheet containing grades/patterns, the prints will be calculated by multiplying the rates and effects with a multiplication factor (9.5) as the maximum number of marks or grades is 100.
