Poco F5 5G to launch in India on THIS Date: Check Price & Features

New Delhi: Himanshu Tandon, the CEO of Poco, recently announced on Twitter that the Poco F5 will be officially launched in India soon, although the exact release date is yet to be revealed.

Tandon also confirmed that the upcoming Poco phone will be the first to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, which is a significant aspect of the device.

Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 Chipset

Introduced in March 2023, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is a mid-range processor that shares some features with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, but is considered to be a lower-powered version of it.

The performance of the Poco F5 is said to be powerful according to the head of Poco India, however, it cannot be confirmed until it is tested and reviewed.

Poco F4 5G

It’s worth noting that last year, Poco unveiled the Poco F4 5G in India with the powerful Snapdragon 870 CPU.

Some phones priced under Rs 40,000, such as the OnePlus 9R, also feature the same processor.

Those seeking high-performance smartphones can consider Poco and iQOO’s latest 5G phones that come with this chipset under Rs 30,000.

The Poco F4 was launched in the country starting at Rs 27,999, and the upcoming Poco F5 is expected to be priced similarly.

Expected Specifications Of Poco F5 5G

As the launch event approaches, the company is expected to reveal more features in the coming days.

As per the reports, it is suggested that the Poco F5 might come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that has an FHD+ resolution.

The display might have a 120Hz refresh rate just like its predecessor.

The smartphone is also expected to run on the latest Android 13 operating system right from the start.

The upcoming Poco F5 smartphone is rumored to feature a triple-camera setup comprising a 64-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel sensor, and a 2-megapixel camera.

Additionally, the device may have a separate 16-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and selfies.

According to reports, the device may continue to support 67W fast charging technology and have a standard 5,000mAh battery, although this has not been officially confirmed by the company.
