Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Sankalp Week’ program on Saturday, September 30th, at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi.
Sankalp Week is a week-long event aimed at the aspiring regions of the country.
It is connected to the successful execution of the Aspirational Block Program (ABP), which PM Modi initiated in January this year.
The goal is to enhance 500 aspiring regions in 329 districts across the nation.
PM Modi also interacted with Panchayat and block-level representatives.
Handicraftsmen and artisans from different states of the country came to participate in this program.
These individuals had displayed their products in the International Convention Centre.
PM Modi inspected the items showcased at all these stalls and engaged in conversations with the creators.
Following this, he attended the program and addressed the attendees. Many leaders were also present at this event organized at Bharat Mandapam.
Gram Panchayats have an important role in the Aspirational Block Program
