PM Modi Launches 5 New Vande Bharat Express Trains, Enhancing Connectivity Across India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated five new Vande Bharat Express trains simultaneously from Rani Kamlapati Railway Station in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

This historic moment marks the first time that India has received the gift of five trains simultaneously, expanding the Vande Bharat Express network to 23 trains nationwide.

The newly introduced trains will connect various regions, including Madhya Pradesh, South India, Bihar, and the Mumbai-Goa route, improving travel convenience and promoting tourism.

Bhopal-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express: The Rani Kamlapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express will establish a connection between the Mahakaushal region (Jabalpur) and Madhya Pradesh’s central region (Bhopal).

This route facilitates easy access to popular tourist destinations such as Bhedaghat, Pachmarhi, and Satpura.

The train will be approximately 30 minutes faster than the existing fastest train on this route, making it the second Vande Bharat Express in Madhya Pradesh.

The New Delhi-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express is already known as the fastest train in its category in India.

Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express: The Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express will enhance connectivity between the Malwa region (Indore) and the Bundelkhand region (Khajuraho) with the central region (Bhopal).

This route benefits important tourist attractions like Mahakaleshwar, Mandu, Maheshwar, Khajuraho, and Panna.

The train will be approximately 2.30 hours faster than the fastest train on this route. The Delhi-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express is also recognized as one of the fastest Vande Bharat trains in India.

Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express: The Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express is the first Vande Bharat Express train from Goa. It will operate between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai and Madgaon station in Goa.

This high-speed train will reduce travel time by more than an hour, saving passengers valuable time compared to the current fastest train on this route.

Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express: The Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will establish connectivity between important cities in Karnataka such as Dharwad, Hubli, Davangere, and the state capital Bengaluru.

This train will benefit tourists, students, and industrialists in the region. It will operate approximately 30 minutes faster than the existing fastest train on this route, covering a distance of approximately 490 kilometers between Bengaluru and Hubli-Dharwad in 6 hours and 13 minutes.

The train’s departure from Bengaluru is scheduled for 5:45 am, arriving at Dharwad railway station at 11:58 am.

Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express: The Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express will be the first Vande Bharat Express train serving Jharkhand and Bihar.

Enhancing connectivity between Patna and Ranchi, this train will benefit tourists, students, and businessmen.

It is expected to save approximately one hour and twenty-five minutes of travel time compared to the fastest train currently operating on this route. The train will also pass through Tatisilwai, BIT Mesra, Barkakana, and Hazaribagh.

The launch of these five new Vande Bharat Express trains signifies the government’s commitment to improving rail connectivity and enhancing travel experiences across different regions of India.

Passengers can now enjoy faster and more convenient journeys, while the Vande Bharat Express network continues to expand, revolutionizing rail travel in the country.
