If you are a pensioner, there’s something important you need to do. By 30th November, make sure to complete the task of submitting your life certificate.
Every year, pensioners must submit this document to confirm that they are alive. You can do this either online or offline.
Here are different ways to submit your life certificate:
India Post Payments Bank (IPPB): You can use India Post Payments Bank services provided by postmen and Gramin Dak Sevak to submit your life certificate.
Jeevan Pramaan Portal: Pensioners can submit their life certificate comfortably at home by visiting the Jeevan Pramaan portal.
The portal uses biometric devices verified by Aadhaar regulator UIDAI to ensure the pensioner’s identity.
Doorstep Banking: Visit your bank and take advantage of doorstep banking services. You can book this service through a mobile app, website, or toll-free number.
A doorstep banking agent will then come to your home to collect the life certificate.
Online Submission for Overseas Pensioners: Pensioners residing abroad can submit their life certificate online through the Jeevan Pramaan website.
Personal Submission to Pension Disbursing Authorities (PDAs): Pensioners can also submit their life certificate directly to the Pension Disbursing Authorities.
If you cannot be physically present, you have the option to get the life certificate signed by a designated official and submit it.
Remember, it’s crucial to complete this process to ensure a smooth continuation of your pension benefits.
