Recently, the Hyderabad US Consulate shifted its location from Paigah Palace to its new premises in the Financial District, Nanakramguda, which is situated in the information technology hub of the city.
The new consulate complex is the largest in South Asia (excluding embassies) in terms of staff strength and services.
According to a senior consulate official, once the operations are fully operational,
the consulate will be able to handle 3,000 to 3,500 visa applications and US citizen services in a single day.
