OnePlus released some new phones this year. They’re called OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R. People can buy them now.
But there’s news that OnePlus is giving money back to people who bought the best version of OnePlus 12R. That’s the one with 256GB storage.
Here’s what happened
OnePlus said the top version of OnePlus 12R has UFS 4.0 storage, just like OnePlus 12.
They also said only the basic version with 128GB storage has UFS 3.1 storage.
But that was wrong. The top version of OnePlus 12R actually has UFS 3.1 storage, which is in many cheaper phones, even in OnePlus 11R.
Because of this mistake, OnePlus has to give money back to people who bought the top version of OnePlus 12R.
The president of OnePlus, Kinder Liu, said sorry for the problem. He said their customer service will help people who have issues.
