If you’re a OnePlus fan, you’ve probably heard about their TV lineup. The company introduced its first TV, the OnePlus TV Q1, in India back in 2019 at a mid-range price point.
However, there hasn’t been any new TV model from the company since last year.
Reports from 91Mobiles.com suggested that OnePlus and Realme might exit the Indian market soon.
Checking the official website now, it appears that OnePlus has discontinued selling TVs.
While OnePlus hasn’t released an official statement on this matter, they have removed the TVs and Display section from their platform.
The TV page is showing a 404 error code, suggesting that the company may also be leaving the monitor market in India.
The brand only introduced two products in this segment, the X27″ and E 24″, both launched in December 2022.
What was the reason?
Retailers have noted a consistent decline in profit margins on OnePlus devices, leading to unprofitable business operations.
Additionally, continuous delays by the company in addressing service claims and warranty issues have resulted in numerous customer complaints at retail stores.
These factors have contributed to an ongoing dispute between OnePlus and the retail outlets.
A new phone is coming soon
Additionally, OnePlus is gearing up to launch its OnePlus Ace 3V soon.
As previously mentioned, this phone will be the first in the world to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip. OnePlus has also provided a sneak peek at the front design of the device.
In a recent teaser, the company has now revealed the RAM and storage capacity of the OnePlus Ace 3V.
The teaser on the company’s official Weibo account reveals that the smartphone will run on the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
It’s been disclosed that the smartphone boasts a 5500mAh battery.
Rumors suggest the device will feature a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel dual-camera system. Additionally, it’s been revealed that the phone comes with dual speakers.
