If you want to take advantage of the One Time Settlement Scheme (OTS), make sure to benefit from the first phase by November 30th.
If you sign up from November 8th to 30th, you’ll receive a 100% discount on the full payment of overdue home electricity bills.
This offer applies to businesses, private institutions, private wells, and industries.
If you register between December 1st and 15th, the discount will be reduced, and if you register between December 16th and 31st, the discount will be further reduced.
Engineers suggest that registering after November 30th will still provide domestic consumers with more than one kilowatt a 100% discount on full payment.
However, only an 80% discount will be available for registrations from December 16th to 31st.
For commercial customers (more than three kilowatts), an 80% discount is available for full payment and registration by November 30th.
Between December 1st and 15th, only a 70% benefit will be available, and in the third phase, only a 60% benefit will be available.
For private institutions, registering in the first phase until November 30th will provide a 50% benefit, in the second phase a 40% benefit, and in the third phase, only a 30% benefit.
Important to note
1) You can have a maximum of three defaults in 12 monthly installments.
2) Two consecutive defaults are not allowed.
3) Only one default is allowed in the case of six monthly installments.
