New Delhi: Have you ever experienced the frustration of booking a cab only to have the driver cancel on you? You’re not alone.
This common issue has plagued many people during their outings.
However, there’s good news now, as Ola has come up with a solution to address this problem.
The company is testing a new service called Ola Premium Plus, which aims to provide users with a hassle-free experience by eliminating issues like cancellations and operational problems.
The launch of Ola Premium Plus was announced by Bhavish Aggarwal, co-founder and CEO of Ola, through a tweet.
In his tweet, he mentioned that Ola Cabs is currently testing a new feature called Prime Plus,
which ensures the availability of the best drivers and top-quality cars, without the inconvenience of cancellations or operational issues.
The service is set to go live for select customers in Bangalore today,
and Aggarwal encouraged everyone to give it a try, mentioning that he himself will be using it.
He also shared a screenshot displaying the new option to select Prime Plus when booking a ride through the Ola app.
According to the screenshot, the cost of booking a cab through the Ola Prime Plus service was Rs 445, while booking a mini cab would cost Rs 535.
Traditionally, the mini option is considered the most affordable when booking a fare through Ola Cabs.
