In the spirit of the upcoming festive season, Northern Railway has good news for those planning a pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi.
To ease passenger travel and alleviate overcrowding, they have introduced special summer trains between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.
These special trains offer various coach options, including AC, sleeper class, and general category.
New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Gati Shakti Special Train (02 trips)
Departure from New Delhi: 29.09.2023, 11:30 pm
Arrival at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra: 11:25 pm the next day
Return journey: Departure from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra on 01.10.2023 at 06:30 pm
Arrival in New Delhi: 6:25 am the following day
This AC class special train will make stops at Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra Junction, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi, and Udhampur (Martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan) stations in both directions.
