Nissan India has recently launched the Geza Edition of its popular sub-compact SUV, the Magnite, aiming to cater to the growing market of affordable SUVs in India.
Priced at Rs 7.39 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the Magnite Geza Edition offers a range of new features at a competitive price point. This special edition is expected to intensify competition for models like the Fronx and Punch.
The Magnite Geza Edition boasts several impressive features, including a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
It is equipped with JBL speakers, ambient lighting with app-based control, a shark fin antenna, and a reverse parking camera with guidance. Additionally, the option of beige seat upholstery enhances the interior’s spacious feel.
The Magnite Geza Edition is available in five mono-tone colors, namely Blade Silver, Flare Garnet Red, Storm White, Sandstone Brown, and Onyx Black. However, it does not offer a dual-tone color option.
In terms of performance, the Magnite Geza Edition is powered by a 1-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, generating 71 Bhp power and 96 Nm torque. The turbo petrol engine variant produces 98 Bhp power and 160 Nm torque.
The SUV comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, while the turbo engine offers the option of a CVT automatic transmission.
The Nissan Magnite Geza Edition introduces updated features and aims to provide customers with a well-rounded package.
It competes in the market against models like the Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Citroen C3, Renault Kiger, and Tata Nexon.
Notably, the Magnite has already received a 4-star safety rating for adult occupant safety by Global NCAP, highlighting Nissan’s commitment to safety.
