Tata Nexon Facelift Images Reveal Curvv concept
Tata Motors’ most recent cabin design will be incorporated into the Nexon facelift, which will be based on the Curvv concept.
Sources indicate that Tata Motors will commence mass production of the Nexon facelift by July 2023, with the company expected to manufacture roughly 15,000 units for both petrol and diesel models.
It is expected that approximately 5,000 units of the Nexon EV makeover will commence production per month, starting around the same time.
The pricing for the Nexon facelift is scheduled to be disclosed in August 2023.
It is expected to be more costly than the current model, with an ex-showroom price range of Rs 7.80 lakh to Rs 14.35 lakh.
Upon its release, the Nexon facelift will remain in competition with cars such as the Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, and Maruti Brezza.
The latest spy pictures reveal a new dashboard featuring a 2-spoke steering wheel, which was first spotted on the previously mentioned concept SUV.
Leaked Images Reveal Upgraded Interior
Along with a rotating drive mode selector and a revamped shifter lever, the test car showcases a sizable infotainment system.
The use of piano black surfaces and blue upholstery contributes to the overall premium appearance of the cabin.
Expectations are that the exterior of the updated Nexon will feature a redesigned front fascia with an LED light bar, updated bumper, and headlights.
The back of the car will also undergo a makeover with Safari-style tail lamps.
There are rumors that suggest the Nexon facelift will be equipped with Tata’s 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, which delivers 122 BHP and 225 Nm of torque.
Additionally, it is expected that the 1.5-liter diesel engine will continue to be offered as an option.
Tata has recently upgraded all their models, including the Nexon, to comply with the BS 6 Phase 2 standards.
It has been reported that the upcoming Nexon facelift will feature the new 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine that was previewed with the Curvv ICE concept.
This engine boasts 5 more horsepower and 55 Nm more torque than the previous version, delivering a total of 125 horsepower and 225 Nm.
The Nexon facelift will still come equipped with the 1.5-liter, 115hp diesel engine, but details about the automatic transmission options are currently unclear.
