Initially, OnePlus had introduced the AI Eraser update for OnePlus 12 series phones in China. But now, Indian users are also receiving this special update.

OnePlus has started rolling out the update in India, and it’s about 227MB in size. This update is for OxygenOS 14, based on Android 14.
The latest version is OxygenOS 14.0.0.505, and it comes with a special feature called AIGC Remover.
AIGC Remover is a new AI (Artificial Intelligence) feature introduced recently. With this feature, you can easily remove unwanted objects from your photos.
You can even replace them with something else that looks real.
AI features are now available for these OnePlus phones
OnePlus initially announced AI Eraser for the Chinese market and then extended it to OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G, and OnePlus Open foldable phones through updates.
Now, this update is being rolled out to devices in India too. OnePlus 12R users can now enjoy the AI Eraser feature, allowing them to create AI-enhanced images.
Other special features of the new update include
1) An app-specific feature that lets users adjust the volume for different apps according to their preferences.
2) Users can now create photo collages without needing to fit the photos into a frame.
3) Another handy feature is that users can turn on the flashlight by pressing and holding the volume down button when the screen is off.
