Motorola Edge 50 launched in India with curved pOLED Display (See Price & Features)

The Motorola Edge 50 has been officially launched in India. It is the first phone in the Edge series to receive military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification.

The device features a curved pOLED display.

This new release is part of Motorola’s Edge 50 series, which also includes the Moto Edge 50 Ultra, Moto Edge 50 Fusion, and Moto Edge 50 Pro.

Motorola Edge 50 Price

The Motorola Edge 50 is available in one configuration: 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, priced at Rs 27,999.

It comes in Jungle Green and Pantone Peach Fuzz with a vegan leather back, and Koala Gray with a vegan suede back.

The Motorola Edge 50 will go on sale for the first time on August 8 at 12 noon via Flipkart.

Motorola is offering an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on Axis Bank credit card purchases, bringing the final price to Rs 25,999.

What’s new in Motorola Edge 50?

The Motorola Edge 50 improves on last year’s Edge 40 with a slightly larger and brighter screen.

It now includes a 10MP telephoto lens, which was missing in the Edge 40. Additionally, the battery has been upgraded from 4,400mAh to 5,000mAh.

The new Motorola phone includes Google AI features such as Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Magic Editor.

It is also claimed to be the thinnest phone with MIL-STD 810H military-grade certification, measuring just 7.79mm thick and weighing 181 grams.

Motorola Edge 50 Specifications

The Motorola Edge 50 features a 6.67-inch pOLED curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,900 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset.

For photography, it has a 50MP Sony-Lytia 700C primary camera, a 10MP 3x telephoto camera, and a 13MP ultra-wide camera.

It also includes a 13MP front camera for selfies. The phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging.
