More Color Choices for Hyundai IONIQ 5

Hyundai Motor India has updated its main model, the Hyundai IONIQ 5, by adding more colors for both the inside and outside.

Now, the all-electric SUV comes in four different colors on the outside, including a new one called Titan Gray, and two options for the inside, like the stylish Obsidian Black.

More people want it

If you’re interested, you can reserve the Hyundai Ioniq (Hyundai IONIQ 5) through Hyundai’s Direct to Customer (D2C) website by paying Rs 1,00,000.

Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India, talked about the success of the Hyundai IONIQ 5. Since it was launched in 2023, over 1400 of these electric vehicles have been sold.

They believe that with the new color choices, even more people will want to buy the Hyundai IONIQ (IONIQ 5).

Better range coming soon

Earlier this year, Hyundai released an updated version of the Ioniq 5 electric SUV for the world market.

The 2024 model has some changes, the most important being a bigger battery pack of 84kWh compared to the previous 77.4kWh.

This means it will have a longer driving range. However, they haven’t said exactly how much longer it will be.

The current model can go about 458 kilometers on one charge (tested as 630 kilometers by ARAI).

The new one is expected to reach around 485 kilometers without needing to recharge.

Hyundai Ioniq 5’s global sales

Besides the bigger battery, the size of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 has also increased in the updated version.

Globally, Hyundai has sold over 2.62 lakh units of the Ioniq 5, with South Korea selling the most at 66,938 units.

The United States is next with 66,481 units sold. Other countries like Germany, UK, and Canada have also had a lot of sales, showing that there’s a big demand for this electric SUV.
