Midcap favorites of fund managers: The year 2022 proved to be mixed for midcap stocks.
Only 66 stocks in the Nifty Midcap 150 index basket have given positive returns in the last year.
After a decline in the first half of 2022, the domestic equity market made a strong recovery in the second half.
The market got a lot of support from the inflow of domestic capital. In the past year, the Nifty 50-TRI gained 6 percent, while the Nifty Midcap 150-TRI gained 4 percent.
