Maruti Suzuki, the renowned automobile company, has announced its sales results for May, and once again, their affordable 7-seater car, the Maruti Eeco, has achieved remarkable success.
With 13 available variants, the Eeco is a versatile multipurpose vehicle that offers seating options ranging from 5 to 7 passengers. Besides personal use, it is also suitable for ambulance services.
The Maruti Suzuki Eeco witnessed a significant surge in sales during May, with a total of 12,818 units sold.
This is a notable increase compared to the 10,482 units sold during the same period last year, indicating the continued popularity of this budget-friendly 7-seater car.
Speaking of its price, the new Eeco starts at an attractive ex-showroom price of Rs. 5.24 lakhs.
It boasts several excellent safety features, including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, immobilizer, illuminated hazard switch, sliding doors, child lock, and reverse parking sensors.
The latest iteration of the Maruti Eeco is equipped with the new 1.2L Advanced K-Series Dual Jet and Dual VVT engine, delivering a power output of 80.76 PS and a torque of 104.4 Nm.
According to the company, the new Eeco offers 25% higher mileage than the petrol version, while the Eeco S-CNG variant provides an impressive 29% improved mileage.
The petrol version achieves a mileage of 20.20 km/l, while the Eeco CNG version delivers 27.05 km/kg.
Additionally, it has been rumored that Maruti Suzuki plans to launch a new version of the Eeco in India, although no official details have been released by the company thus far.
