The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is popular in our country because it is affordable and has good mileage.
Now, the company is making it even more budget-friendly by introducing a flex-fuel version.
This was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo in Delhi, and it was first presented at the Auto Expo in Delhi last year.
Let’s talk more about why this small car is becoming more special.
Flex fuel is a mix of petrol and ethanol
Maruti has made some changes to the Wagon R to make it more affordable and environmentally friendly, but they kept its design the same.
The engine of the Maruti Wagon R with flex fuel will have a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder engine, producing 88.5bhp power and 113NM torque.
It comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox and can run on a mix of ethanol and petrol, causing less harm to the environment.
It might be available on the roads by 2025, and it could be a bit more expensive than the current model.
The Maruti Wagon R already competes strongly in its category, and with the introduction of the flex-fuel variant, it might become even more popular.
