Maruti Grand Vitara Waiting Period Details unveiled (Check Price)

The Maruti Grand Vitara, introduced in September of the previous year, has been a significant contributor to the sales figures of the Indo-Japanese automaker in India.

In February and March 2023, the company successfully sold 9,183 units and 10,045 units of this midsize SUV respectively.

Due to its growing popularity and high demand, customers in Noida may experience a waiting period of up to 10 months to purchase the Grand Vitara.

Customers in New Delhi and Gurugram may face a waiting period of approximately 7.5-8.5 months and 3-4 months respectively when purchasing the Maruti Grand Vitara.

In Chennai, the waiting period is around 2 months, while in Pune it ranges from 3-4.5 months.

However, buyers in Bengaluru are fortunate to enjoy instant delivery without any waiting period for the SUV.

At first, the Maruti Grand Vitara was available at a price range of Rs 10.45 lakh to Rs 19.49 lakh.

However, there has been a subsequent price increase, and the current cost of the SUV now ranges from Rs 10.70 lakh to Rs 19.95 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).

The Maruti Grand Vitara SUV is available in 11 variants and 6 trims, namely Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Zeta+, and Alpha+.

One of its key features is the powerful hybrid powertrain, which consists of a 92bhp, 1.5L, 3-cylinder Atkinson cycle petrol engine combined with an 79bhp electric motor that produces 141Nm of torque.

The total combined power output of the system is 115bhp, and it is paired with an e-CVT gearbox. The hybrid powertrain is claimed to deliver an impressive mileage of 27.97kmpl.

The Maruti Grand Vitara SUV is also available with a 103bhp, 1.5L K15C petrol mild hybrid engine option, which can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

The manual variant of the mild hybrid setup delivers a fuel efficiency of 21.11kmpl (2WD) and 19.38kmpl (AWD), while the automatic version offers 20.58kmpl.
